Graduation Information for General Graduate Shcool
Master's Programs
- Course Requirements: 15 credits from major courses (including 3 credits from common fundamental courses)
※ Students who entered the university in and before 2005 must earn credits from thesis preparation courses required by the department.
※ Students who entered the university in or after 2006 must earn credits required by their academic division.
※ Students who entered the university in and before 2005 must earn credits from thesis preparation courses required by the department.

Ph.D. Degree Programs
- The minimum number of credits of course work which must be completed is 60. A maximum of 24 credits from master's courses can be counted in a Ph.D. degree program or in a master's and Ph.D. combined degree program.
- Course Requirements: 24 credits from major courses (including 3 credits from common fundamental courses and an additional 3 credits from master's courses).

- Students cannot re-take courses which were completed in their master's programs.
- No more than 12 credits can be earned from interrelated courses.

Makeup Courses
If a student's major in their current program is different from that of their lower degree programs, they must complete courses as required by their department unless they completed those courses in their lower degree programs.
Passing Grade
The lowest passing grade is C (with 2.0 grade points). However, their cumulative GPA at the completion of their program must be 3.0 or higher.
